Thanks for the comments on the shot of the camera, guys. Turns out my monitor is on it's last leg, and I'm seeing what you guys are seeing on all but my main monitor which I do all of my editing on.

Hey Phil. The background is falloff, and the specks are dust that I thought I had concealed during the exposure. :) The exercise was to get the black background in camera, but I got tempted to bring back some highlights in post, and obviously I brought back a little too much. I also expanded what I thought was pure black background in post, and that's why there are black bands around the camera.

This is a single 580EXII behind the couple and the sun behind me. It is more "creative" than it is technically a good shot as it was don behind a red sheer fabric. Just thought I would share.

Used a single Vivitar 285 HV right of camera aimed at her belly to get the highlight and outline of her belly.
