Lovely collection. I particularly like No 4 the way the spikey bits stand out.

That's a great series, very different to what I've seen here.
My favorites are the first one and the fourth one. Colors are eally great, and your shots are very sharp in general.

Congrats ;-)a

Laurent.

A very interesting series. I like all of them, but I'll plump for #4.

Thank you! I started with the intent of posting something for the #32 speed challenge (cold) on the competitions forum, but I became fascinated by the effects I was seeing, and so I was compelled to take lots of pictures.

I wonder what makes #4 seem like the best of the series to so many viewers.

Nice shots! I especially like number 2 as it reminds me of a christmas tree branch.

This is often a question I have a hard time answering, but I can tell you what I like about #4:

It has nice contrasting colors - light and dark areas that add some interest.
It gives the illusion of motion but it also looks like a leaf so I look at it more to see both of those things at once.

Very cool shots!

Another vote for #4, the angle of the ice draws you into the picture.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen ice quite like that before! (At least anywhere I could photograph it..) Where the heck!?
