I have decided to close the P&N forum due to a number of factors some of which include time constraints and an interest in maintaining cross forum integrity. Many people have contacted me expressing an interest in Politics & News but also indicate they're not joining because they don't want the discussion to unnecessarily influence their perception of fellow photography members or how fellow members interact with them. I respect that interest and admit that I would rather spend my online time participating in photography discussion.

If anyone is interested in creating a forum for their own interests or perhaps continuing on with a P&N forum, Invision Power Board does provide completely free forum hosting. If you have any questions feel free to PM me via Photography_on_the_Net or email sketcher@mchsi.com (external link)

Thank you for your time and for having checked out P&N.

Best Regards,

Jeff

Well shoot...I was kind of looking forward to it.

I am a member of another forum, we have known eachother for a long time, we all met online in a racing game.

The forum started for fun but when fights and political debates broke out we agreed to fix it by creating a fight forum and creating a politics forum. Whats said in those forums statys in those forums and when someone breaks that agreement they are dealt with.

What i'm saying is that just so long as people are mature enough to realize that not everyone agrees with what you think, then i personally see no reason why it wouldnt work.

I've got plenty of free space with a bbs forum (like this one) that is going unused. If anyone is interested i'd be glad spark up some good old fashion debates.
