Here are the pictures I took of my son, Aidan, for his 18 month shots. He wasn't very cooperative but I got a couple of cuties. The little stool and rocking chair were both mine when I was his age. And, I know the striped shirt is a no-no but it is my favorite shirt and they grow out of them so fast. #1 was my personal fave. #4 was the family favorite.

Cute shots...lighting and colors look good to me, except in #2 - you've got something funky going on, the photo appears washed out and you've got a solid black rectangular box across the top of the photo.

My gear list finally got too long to list under my sig.

Thanks, I'm not sure why that box is there. It wasn't in the one I had printed. And, I think I inadvertentaly washed the color out. I think I desaturated the reds too much accidentally. The original looked too red to me. Lesson learned. I was also in the middle of doing some edits for a friend and I think I didn't spend as much time/care on my own.

#1, looks like he might have knocked it over.

Cute kid and nice PP job.

Blink, he'll be 11. (I just did that)

Yep, he did. I tried putting him on it so that he was sitting on the seat part and his feet were on the front but he didn't stay still long enough for me to get back to the camera. Too bad, because it was cute. I finally just let him play and took pics whenever I got a cute one or he was looking at me. And, I don't want to even think about him being 11. It was bad enough when he turned 1!:cry:

Cute pictures. I have a 19 mo old boy so I know how tough it is to get them to sit still!

He is acting more and more like the defiant two year old these days.

nice. I'm a big fan of pix with black backgrounds. That green shirt just pops against the black.
1st on is the best of the series. Nice captures

How'd you get him to sit? I can't get my 20 month old to sit at all... the pictures I tried to get for christmas are all of her crying because I tried to get her to stop for a second ;)

Thank you! Aidan is too. It's so funny to see him stomp his little feet though. My husband drives me nuts because he calls him "Lense" when he's having a tantrum (lense is my maiden name). Of course what makes it worse is that he did get his little temper from me.

Thanks, I love the black BG as well. And, #1 is my personal favorite.

I just asked him if he could sit in the chair for me and took pics quick. He thought it was a fun game. With a friend's daughter I bribed her with M&M's. I told her she could have one every five pics. It worked pretty well. Maybe it could work for you.
