Hello all,

I know the tradition is a duck but I have not been able to get one yet. I tried last Friday at Lowry Park Zoo here in Tampa to no avail. However, this little guy swooped down on me twice while in one of the aviaries and on the third pass, landed at my feet and politely waited for his portrait.

I promise, I will have some ducks soon even if I have to go and buy them :):p

Happy Holidays to all
Peace
Mark

Good close up! You don't often get that close to a bat.

Thanks rw2, he was 'up close and personal' hanging knee high directly across the sidewalk from me - I was hoping he wasn't too close to get focus lock.

This was my first outing with the 70-200mm 2.8 IS and shot handheld at 1/15, 2.8, 200mm, iso 1600.

Peace
Mark
