My mom, my wife, my daughter and myself went to a place out here (Denver) called The Fort. It's a fancy restaraunt that is built like an old adobe fort. They were holding an event which you take a strip of paper, write a note to a loved one who has passed on, wrap the strip on a pine cone, and toss it into the fire so that, as it burns, your message is sent taken to that person. It was really kind of cool. Of course I took my camera. Here are a few shots that I got while there:
The sky as the sun sets.
