Wanting to buy a friend an XTi for Christmas, along with the amazing (for it's price) 18-55 IS kit lens. I see the lens available separately but not in any of the camera kits? I would prefer to save some dollars by buying them together. Anyone seen the new lens in the kits anywhere? Or is Canon trying to empty stock of the old non IS lens first?
