Hi, this is my first attempt at HDR.
I think this was 4 shots and used Photomatix basic, Tone mapping and saved to JPG. The only thing the original HDR was much nicer but the JPG doesnt catch my eye. Any ideas?

Only use it when your exposures are at complete opposite ends of the spectrum, and in order to attain perfect exposure -- you have to shoot brackets. Or, do it with a scene that begs for it visually. Details, etc. This is really just an "autotrader" snapshot. I had to tone map so I could save as JPG, other wise I couldnt. What made it "too much" was the mega unsharpen mask I used.
