I played around with HDR today and came up with these. Added some minor other post processing after the hdr in photoshop. C&C welcomed.

I like them both. I don't know why, but I have a soft spot for HDR's.
Nicely done.

Definitely different type of shot, but again as that guy ^^ said. I too like it.

whenever I photograph a car, I always use a CPL to avoid that glare off the windshield. It's the only 'distraction' from the image, really. take it as a tip for next time?

People are funny with hdr and cars. Some really like it and some really hate it.

Thanks for the C&C.

I'm somewhere in between. I think the lack of contrast makes it look more like a artist's rendering than a photo. A bit more contrast might do it for me.

TBH they are cack. would much rather see a properly lit porker than a crapy HDR. HDR only works in certain situations and it clearly does not in this one.

if the OP had processed them normally then they would have been much nicer images or a sweet car. This is a case of over using a technique just for the sake of it which seems to be the case with HDR.

p.s urban dictonary does not list every meaning. while Cack does mean **** as in faeces it also means rubbish, of poor quality which is the way I am using it above.

p.p.s never had a chat thanks

Better!

Cack ... also means rubbish, of poor quality

If you really need to say that in that tone, then adding something constructive to your comment might help the OP & maybe keep the Mods off your back? ;)

Sorry but im not feeling these either, the lack of contrst just make them feel dull especially in the first shot. For me they just dont look natural.

Since I'm learning, what would a certain situation be for using HDR with an automobile?
