Found this on Craigslist. So I inquired. Here is the email I just got.

Canon EOS 5d SLR "USA"- 2GB Ultra II + 2 Batt + Leather Bag - $600

Hello,
I still have the camera
All original accessories, software and manuals...nothing missing. USA warrantee card. USED 3 TIMES IN HOME PHOTO STUDIO. I've only taken about 1000 fotos with it. It really is in brand new condition. Not a mark on it.. Look at the pics attached to this email!!!
My name is Dale Polley and I am now in London, United Kingdom (I was sent here wih my work).
The camera is an US version and is still under warranty.
We can close a deal asap.
Obviously we need a way to complete this deal that will allow us to make sure we receive what we are after.
I have found a way for us to complete the deal safely and fast, and in this way you will receive the camera in less than 2 days, if you move fast as well. The solution is provided by a company called TNT which is similar to Fedex or UPS, which will handle the payment and delivery of the camera.
Please click on the link bellow to the TNT website to see how we can complete the deal safely and fast directly from the website of the company where the procedure is explained:

http://www.tnt.com/country/en_generic/about/ournews/euexpansion.html (external link)

Like I said, I will pay for a 2 days delivery so you will receive the camera right away.
I will explain to you step by step how this will work .
1) First you will have to send me your full name and address. I will need them for the shipping.
2) I go to the TNT store and leave the camera onto your name as the intended receiver.
3) TNT will check the camera to see if everything is OK with it and also the legal papers that will come along with the camera.
4) TNT will send you a delivery notification to let you know they have the camera, in which you will be told that they have the camera and that they checked it.
5) At this point you will have to go to a Western Union Agent Location and make a money deposit on the TNT payment agent name for the amount we agreed .
6) After you make the deposit you will have to send the info about the money deposit to TNT (MTCN, sender's name and address)
7) TNT will verify the payment informations and if everything is in order they will deliver the camera to you.
8) After you receive the camera , check it and see that all is in order you will instruct TNT to send me the money.
I will pay TNT for the shipping and you will pay Western Union for
the Money Transfer fee .
Let me know if we can do this.

Best regards,

This sounds sooooooooo goooooooood. What should I do next? Wire the money or just send him cash?

HAHHAHAA,
I also found a
Canon EOS-1D Mark II Digital SLR Body - $610

This one is listed in many states, different craigslist id's but all with the same picture.:)

This way my reply to his email.

This sounds good. Are you willing to take a small dog in trade? I recently had a ferris wheel accident which burned all the hair on my back so I have been out of work.

Id be concerned that it is a scam. Ive run into several of similar things on ebay. One was with a 2005 GMC Serria and that he just moved to the UK and it was a wedding present and that he would ship it back top the US for free. All you had to do was wire him through some broker $15,000. Sounds kinda like this one like this one ure talking about.

I found a form page on the net that talks about scams that sound like kinda like this. But I cant remember what the url is.
I try to live by "If it sounds to good to be true, It probably is."

But if it is for real then you will have a sweet deal.

Because, sadly, there are people STUPID enough to believe it is a real deal.

Oh ya, super scam. But his email verified what I had thought. You never know if some ex-girlfriend or ex-wife just wants to liquidate the ex's equipment.

I should ask the seller if it is ok for me to send one of my POTN buddies in London to stop buy and pick up the camera? Hee Hee

I definitely inquired about that. It's so asinine.

TNT...seriously? Where do they come up with these names. It is fun emailing them though and like on mention, EX's will liquidate stuff for a cheap price so it never hurts to inquire. best deal ever for me on stuff, but wasn't liquidate or anything. $70 for a new 7MDH and $80 I think for a new 430EX with a broken hot shoe. $10 to replace that. :D

TNT really exists and it's really a big company.
I wouldn't recommend to anyone of you to send money via WESTERN UNION. If I'm correct it also stands on eBay that you shouldn't send money via WESTERN UNION as it is not safe at all and you might not see your money anymore.
Guys,
I've never heard of something like that that logistics company will check the condition of the camera and all the papers. Their job is transportation and not being experts in all stuff they carry all around the world. So if anyone of you really wants to buy it, then rather buy some cheap flight tickets to London and go there to check it personally. UK is pretty expensive country, so 5D would cost there couple of times more so this cannot be realistic at all.

Well said!! it most certainly is expensive!! if something is say $600 in the US then its usualy £600 over here!! how is that fair?? when you consider that you get $2 to every £1

There is sooo much scamming going on right now i cant believe it!!
