Seeing it didn't invoke feelings of Christmas for me. I can't really put my fingers on the exact reasons why but I think it's because it has more of a summer feel to it. I suppose if I were in Australia the summer feel wouldn't be a distractor for me! ;)

Cheers,
LeBaron

No, it doesn't ring Christmas for me either. It's a good shot, reminds me of a crisp fall day.

If your going to use it for a card, yes, I can see it working really well with a Christmas theme background...or even a texture or layer on it that's kinda Christmasy.

But alone it does not evoke Christmas. That picture is adorable and I wouldn't think twce about using it! Love it!

Thanks for your replies! I was going to do some Christmas thing to it and make a card but I'm so far behind in editing. I'll just have wallets made and stick them in Christmas cards. UGH I hate putting this stuff off until the last minute.

I know what you mean. I'm having a time getting my boys to sit still for anything. But the shot is wonderful. Just put a holiday frame around it.

Not Christmas-y to me - but I do love the picture. I realyy like the positioning of subject to the left of our view.

What about if you photoshopped in a red Chrismas present sitting on the bench beside her?
