I wish you could smell my house right now...the sugarplum cakes (read: gumdrop cake) have cooked and the yulekaka (norwegian Christmas bread), half of the loaves are done...

gumdrops (not spicy)
pecans
flour
canned milk
sugar
real butter
eggs
(I think that's all)


yulekaka
is a sweetbread with candied fruit, craisins and peans and a light glaze. (makes great toast)
