I wish you could smell my house right now...the sugarplum cakes (read: gumdrop cake) have cooked and the yulekaka (norwegian Christmas bread), half of the loaves are done...

Normally my mouth would be watering ......... but sadly, Skip and I are in the throes of the stomach flu. Boo Hoo.

nope, not at all. I got no idea what they are. They look like date loaf or a xmas cake but my cooking knowledge's is very small.

gumdrops (not spicy)
pecans
flour
canned milk
sugar
real butter
eggs
(I think that's all)

yulekaka
is a sweetbread with candied fruit, craisins and peans and a light glaze. (makes great toast)
