Opal Creek. You should make the hike sometime...it'd be nothing for you and Riley. It nearly killed Dan and I. But the falls, the mine and Jawbone flats mining town are SO WORTH the 8 miles round trip walk.

by the way, that water even in the height of summer is FREEZING! But it really is as clear (or clearer than) it looks. It's a lovely place.
