Zidane is French and that head-butting incident occured in the last summer Olympics. It got him red-carded out of the Gold Medal game and Italy was the eventual winner.

The Zidane incident remains one of the most low-life acts in sports history. Right up there with Mike Tyson biting Evander Holyfield incident.
