Here's the first shot I've processed. I tried to take advantage of the conditions in the first few shots (the fog).

Waddya think?

I'm thinking that if it were for me....I would be very happy.

Is this the 1 series Permie?

My 40D has played paperweight a couple of times over the last few weeks. So far removing and reseating the batteries has solved it. Last time it did it was yesterday, turned on ok but button presses or dial turning wouldn't change any settings. Very glad I still have the 30D.

Sounds like that's going to be one heckofan adjustment.

It was such a huge adjustment that I will have to wait....they didn't have the necessary tools to make it happen.

just a quick check in...my camera is NOT tracking at all...I can't figure out why...it locks on a spot and stays there no matter what the subject does...I'm hoping it's a CF (I'm looking into that right now) but at the moment I'm horribly upset.

Just a second, I am calling Dan to let him know not to come home...

That really bites - I hope it is a CFn....

tommykjensen wrote in post #4604601 (external link)
Ohhh sorry to hear that. Hopefully it is just a weird CF setting.

There are so many CFns. on the MarkIII - I have no idea what half of them do :-D

I don't know if the silence means Permie is out shooting or she has blown up her camera.
