I know that POTNers are bleeding edge photographers that love talking about and shooting the latest equipment. My Digital Rebel spent more time annoying me recently (too damn slow) so I started shooting a lot more film again on my Elan 7E. I "discovered" Kodak Portra this summer and immediately fell in love with its look and feel. Here's some shots I took at my Grandma's 80th Birthday of my family.
A shot of my girlfriend with my Uncle's EF 16-35L at minimum focus distance for a good laugh!
My Cousins giving me no respect when I put the camera in their face:
My Mom and Dad in the kitchen cleaning up:
Finally, My Grandma and Grandpa: (too bad about the person in the back....)
The last three shots were shot using my EF28-135mm and a 580EX flash bounced for light. I really like the way they turned out. I've spent the past year or so shooting mostly film. It's changed the way I go about photography and made me have a clearer vision of what I'm trying to do before I press the shutter. I just recently acquired a 20D, and I'm hoping the lessons I learned in the past year will show in my digital photography.

What speed was it? 160 or 400 I'd guess.
