Great spotted woodpecker and the gate crasher !

Nice change today sitting in a warm wooden hide instead of the pop up and a first for me seeing the male and female together but never close enough to get both in the same frame, got to admire that Chaffinch though as he was not bothered how big they were, if he wanted it he certainly went for it.

Nice shots, Carlton. The 4th one is my favorite - love the expressions/poses on both the 'pecker & the crasher.

Is that a suet feeder?

Rock, Allen.......Pretty sure that the feeder was filled with suet / fat its just a piece of branch drilled then suspended off a T bar set in the ground.
