Went from an XTi, which I sold back in August, to the 40D. Just picked her up tonight. The kit lens is already pending/sold to a friend of mine, I got a price match, and after everything said and done I will end up with the body only for less than $1100. Can't beat that

Here is a crappy picture...sorry about the miserable lighting...all I had to work with as I was too antsy to get a pic...

Very cool camera, and this weekend I will spend some time getting used to it. The 6+ fps is amazing. I will have a lot of fun with this one...Can't for racing season to start again!

Congrats, I recently bought the 40D too....I have thourghly enjoyed it. Though, I am still kinda low on the image count with less than 600 shots taken since getting it in my hands 11/21. :lol:

Nice! I have that combo, currently sans lens hood sitting about a foot from my left foot at this exact moment, safely nestled inside my camera bag of course.

Canon 50D | Nikon D850 D200
+ other assorted glass, plastic, and metal.

Thanks a ton for the feedback guys. I'm very excited to finally have it and hope I have some time to spend this weekend to use it...

FWIW - Best buy has a return policy till Jan 31, 08, and told me during this time I will be able to get price and financing adjustments as well. But you better ask youself to make sure.
