well...the WL 5,000 came the other day. Got it for 67 bucks on the bay! I had a chance to play around with it a little while I await my WL 10,000. got it for 107 on the bay. (should be here tomorrow). I can see why these old cans had such a great reputation. Amazing little strobes (actually larger than I thought they would be). The seem really durable and work amazingly with my poverty wizards! The following shots were taken with one strobe bare (no umbrellas or boxes) and a reflector. the model...my daughter. Excuse the background as she was enjoying some playtime in the living room. I will post more when the 10,000 comes in.

oh...almost forgot. love the mounting bracket for these lights. makes it easy to attach poverty wizards (or whatever you may have) to it for a nice organized, clean look.

Just a gentle hint... but the forum rules ask that we restrict our pictures to 800px on the longest side...

Your pictures look good and congrats on the lights.

Sorry, but IMAGE POSTING RULES only allow pics 800 pixels or smaller. You can always just post a link to them, though.

Thanks for your comments. I fixed the image size. Didn't even think about it when I posted them.

Cool - I can read all of your text without scrolling the screen now, too! :D

I am envious of those lights - they look good and, in your hands, appear to give excellent results.
