Hi,

I just bought the powershot pro1. It's been fustrating because I cannot open the Zoombrowser that came with the camera. It shows the welcome screen and after three seconds the program stops and disapears. I have told about it to the technical support of canon, but their suggestions did not work. I have updated the software, I have tested on all possible conditions, but still there should be a conflict with another program.
I would appreciate any help on this side, since I cannot use the RAW format of my camera.
I'm running the software on and IBM thinkpad T41, winXP.

thanks in advance for your help

xz

You don't need Zoombrowser to process RAW images. After you've uploaded the images to your computer, run File Viewer Utility directly. FVU is what you need to process RAW.

There is a newer program that replaces FVU for processing RAW images. It's called EOS Viewer Utility. I highly recommend you download EVU from the Canon web site and use that instead of FVU. It may save you some frustrating moments. :D
