Trying to learn anything more than this in short order isn't possible. Then bring us some images and we'll from there! sounds good to me, deal. Canon 5D Mark III - 35L - 50L - 85L II

Bounce card or Lumiquest bounce card if you got it (if not index card rubber banded to back of flash works. Shoot manual. ISO adjusted between 100 and 800 (depending on how close you are to your subject... the closer to the subject the lower the iso). Shutterspeeds between 1/4 and 125 (depending on how close and how much ambient light you want... also realize that the further you are away the less chance your flash will "freeze" the subject clearly in which case you will want the faster shutter speed. Adjust to taste). shoot in raw, easier to adjust exposures and wb if you happen to be over or under a few stops. There is no tried and true, you will have to get an idea of what kind of picture you will get at the various settings and go from there. Index card???? please explain, I am kinda in the area where I have no 'real' photography stores. Canon 5D Mark III - 35L - 50L - 85L II

In fact, if you went to school at some point in your life then you have probably encountered an index card or two. Just be sure it's white. Using a Canon 5d, 24-105 F4L IS, 580ex. The second picture I shot at ISO800, F4, 1/50, JPEG mode. No flash bracket. The first shot at full auto. I took about 300 shots and maybe could use half. Correct focusing was the biggest problem. Lots of fun, but need to practice more. JP
