I know that this is a nightclub thread but with all of this talk about models, can anyone link some of your model type work and the specifics of it (pay, location, outfit changes, experiences etc.?)
Thanks

We are moving the party somewhere else. It's a long story. Quite annoying actually:/ Canon 40D Gripped/Tokina 11-16mm F2.8/600EX RT/One Minnen Ratta and other goodies.

I mean, at $5K for a basic system, they're not that cheap, but for some clubs, it's a drop in the bucket. $5K will get you a basic system to cover a small-ish room. This is just based on a rough quote I've heard the installer talking about. The bigger the system, the more costly it is. I'd say a big room system is north of $30K easily. Piping, control systems, etc... My "home" venue (where the photo you saw was taken) has all three rooms, as well as the main room of the club next door, which the owner is landlord of, fed off of one humongous tank that stands over two stories tall. It's crazy when they fuel that beast every two months. This huge tanker truck pulls up and some guy in a protective suit hops out and pops a hatch on the side of the building and lets it rip. You think they were fueling an ICBM or something. There's cheaper rigs that use CO2, but for some reason that strikes me as really stupid, considering what CO2 actually does. Well you gotta realize Santa Barbara's climate.. never gets above 90, never below 60. I mean that might be a *tad* exaggerated but really it's pretty close, so there really is no need for them, but it would be cool. Draft beer, not people.
