His "minimal scarf".

The kids around here who are into "minimal techno" all affected scarves during the "colder" seasons. My friend here had one as a joke of sorts.

But if you can focus on something in a fog blast, you can do some really cool stuff. Having my ST-E2 helps enormously.

The light is actually sunlight.

No photos but if you would like to read what happened to our Rehab pool parties at the Mansion, then here's an article for you:

you know, who ever the company who is throwing the party, should reconsider the name of the party. If the real "Rehab" finds out about it, they will surely intervene.

I know. I was thinking the same thing:confused:

I talked to both the owner of the house and the promoter of the event and there's all sorts of wrong going on. Makes me sick thinking about it.

We are in the middle of winter here in Oz at the moment, but Twin Turbo, all these pool party pics have gotten us thinking. I'm putting the idea for a similar event to the guys I work for, Black Diamond... With enough pre planning and organisation we could have it up and running for summer...

In the meantime, another set from their Loud Underage event:

I thought you guys would be huge into pool parties down there?

Well, they say the same about Miami, and we've got very few, if any, worth talking about on a regular basis.

As you guys may have read in the article that I posted about our Rehab parties is that they are having these parties in someone's house. There's all sorts of noise issues and the neighbors got pissed. Personally, I think that the event was thrown together hastily and this is what happens. Plus, you don't leave $5,000 worth of gear out in the open for some idiots to climb over the wall to take it in the middle of the night:confused:

yeah i read that article hoping to get some info that may help us out. i think the idea of having it at a private residence is probably the way to go, but then what issues does it raise with alcohol and the sale of it on the premise?

Well, the thing is, you have to get a liquor license (of course) and because it is on a residential zone, you have to get permits from the city and things.

the thing that went wrong here is that they tried to operate this as a "business" instead of a party. That's what did them in, along with the theft. Plus, the owner and the promoter were not seeing eye to eye on things.

hmmm, there looks like a bunch of things we need to look into. we would be looking at running it as a business, ie we are doing it to make money, not just to throw a party. i wonder if legally they are the same thing here in oz? i mean can you make a profit by having a "party" if you get where i am heading?

You know, I am not sure about that. I can ask my Dj buddy who masterminded this whole thing and will report back;)

One thing that did irk me a bit about the whole thing was that they were acting like proceeds were going to go to some "charity." Yea right:confused:
