But i utilize my flash bracket to position the light src anywhere i want. Such as from the number 3 photo, i positions it about 30 degrees from teh portrait orientation, and then used my hand as a bounce card to angle the light towards the subject more. Sounds complicated, but i swear there is a method to my madness. My Twitter: http://twitter.com/powersimagery

Dwight i would like to speak to you on how you got started doing entertainment photography, i want to get into it, but really hard to get my foot in teh doorPS: holy bejesus i just saw your gear list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need a picture or two of you taking pictures! You can read about how I got into this nonsense over at https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=63580 and even ask questions. If you still want to chat offline then PM me Yes, it is a nice gear list and there's more related things and more things always coming as I re-invest all my photography income in new equipment. Just remember that my success came almost exactly as my heart disease got out of hand ... but I still expect to live another 20 years! Dwight McCann

Ask and you shall receive..... Sometimes ill even turn the cam upside down so i can get the flash wherever i want. but thats for really bad lighting problems. where i absolutley have to have the flash come from that direction. Oh, man, didn't mean for you to burn your hand! BTW, I now have a link in my .sig that will lead you off on a long read or two about me. If I drive out to Tucson (assuming it is still on) maybe I should stop off for a meal or coffee with you, eh? Dwight McCann

I personally have tried hand holding with the off-camera cord and just very recently got an ST-E2 so I am trying a few different things including two flashes. The big problem I have at the casino is that the walls are draped and the ceiling is about 30' so bouncing isn't much of an option. I should note I don't do this for the concerts but for the VIP players at special events. But I'd like to try some club shooting. Dwight McCann
