I'm using a corded sc-29 on my d300 with a sb900
using a magic arm as bracket for adjustments. Maybe a lumiquest III box if theres no high ceiling.

hey bro how u liking that d300?
i have been shooting with a d50 all these years, and am debating on upgrading to a d300.

1.i only have 5 focal points...so that kinda blows lol
2.to much noise when i get to 1600
3.way more nifty gadgets to help my photos to the next step im sure

So i was debating on getting a new lense, currently im shooting with a 18-55mm, its a great lense...i just want to be able to get CLOSER to the subjects, and show more body and what not. Anyhow

Tamaron SP AF 10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 Di-ll LD Aspherical (IF)

any thoughts or suggestions? haven't heard much about this lense but it seems like a pretty good lense for a pretty decent price

As long as the people are in the middle of the frame, they won't look too f'ed up from distortion.

I think its great go check out some used ones I'd stick with the fast low af and mag body compared to a d90 any day.
