Kay - #2&3 are well nice.

Default - sexy as always.

Stuart - I wear a white t-shirt because they're easy to see on the rare occasion my flash gun isn't giving me away.

Do any of you guys dress up to attract attention?

Nope dress in my normal t shirt and jeans combo, usually a black t shirt so it doesnt get trashed by rubbing up against girls with cheap make up or someones drink being thrown over it.

I dont have anything stating what im doing either, im not one to wave around a silly little pass round my neck trying to look important :lol:

Hah, right?

I wear passes when I shoot concerts, since you pretty much need to have them.

Club stuff? No way. Most venues I shoot at assume if you got in with a big honking SLR, you're legit. A few venues I know issue press passes, but it's really something to carry in your pocket if the staff asks.

A few of the run-and-gun sites make you wear polo shirts with their logo on it. That's a bit obnoxious. One site even sells sponsor space on their polos and T-shirts, much like if you were a Formula 1 driver. Like, one day, one of their guys had a Budweiser logo on the back, then the next month there was an Absolut logo.

On one of my old sites, we had shirts with our logo, but wearing it was optional. I was the only shooter so it was more of a personal preference deal.

My current site, we kicked around making a shirt for a bit, but more as an item to sell, rather than a uniform. We put some serious thought into it, and were even courting designers to make something. Like, it would be a TNL shirt, but it'd be something you could wear whenever. We even considered making it an item you could purchase.

.

Ill often tuck my pass inside my tshirt if its a neck one or ill attach it elsewhere like my belt, alot of stuff in the UK is on wristbands, even the large festivals the access is on the band rather than ID from my experience.

It was more of a little quip about a certain site where they all wear their passes round their necks like an olympic medal :D

Is it our favorite site to beat on from Europe?

The funny thing is, when you have a "homemade" pass from your site like that, it makes you look like you're trying to look official, i.e. you don't really have authorization so you put a fancy pass around your neck.

We have our gambitlive t-shirts, just a bit more pro looking, but for theme nights I tend to fit in.

like tonight is a jersey shore theme,

so the fake tan is out and im getting the facepainters to paint gambitlive.com across my back.

just a bit of fun.

we also have flourescent t-shirts for any UV raves etc going down

Quick question, I'm sure this was briefly touched on earlier in the thread.

Do any of you guys dress up to attract attention?

For example, the club I am working tonight is having a "zoo project" and I am dressing up as a penguin! :P

Ive suggested dressing up in some manner before but Ive never done it personally.

You could do a "reverse tan" and get Gambit Live shadowed out on your back haha.

Or paint yourself orange. Same difference.

like tonight is a jersey shore theme,

Everyday I hate those words more and more... Thankfully, I live in South Jersey, which is NOT the shore.

I should be shooting two nights this week and getting paid for my last 3, and I am currently flirting with the idea of trading my 7d for a 1d2n and some cash ( or trying to get a 1d3 ).

Anyone have personal experience with the Sigma 30mm 1.4 in a club environment? I want this to be my next lens purchase, but not sure if it's going to give me the crispness I'm looking for.

Thoughts? Ideas? Prom dress?
