^--- See if they make that body armor stuff for your camera.

On another note, I was contacted by an out of state DJ this morning saying his manager wants one of my high res photos for promo stuff. The DJ's exact words were "I'll buy you lunch or something when I'm back in town in July."

Would that be a sufficient payment to anyone else here, or should I be charging for it? If so, how much?

Depends how much you feel your pics are worth. If you think realistically you can get a couple hundred a photo then by all means charge accordingly, but if you don't think their anything to write home about, then lunch might suffice, or a combo of a lower price and lunch. That's just how I'd do it.

Word thanks. Here's the photo they're wanting. It's nothing super amazing, but I'm proud of it. I'm thinking of asking $50 for it...and if they don't want to pay it... then who knows after that:

Do any of you adjust your user profiles? Portrait? Do you alter the sharpness/contrast/saturation on the body itself or save it 'til post processing?

Nice shot, $50 works, you might be able to get a bit more if you wanted to try.

^---Cool thanks for the input bro.

@Lonz645. I only shoot RAW and adjust later. I don't like letting my camera choose how the photo should look.

I used to use Camera Armor for my Xti a few years back and it worked well. Totally recommend it.:D

Some packages remove metadata as a matter of course. Photoshop's "Save For Web" feature often does this to decrease file sizes. And, some photopost engines to as well to accomplish the same effect. I leave mine intact always. Nothing I do is a trade secret.

Same way i feel, especially on forums but then again most people dont use forums to help people and discuss things, just as a photo dump for cock waving.
