What drives me insane are posts that are totally devoid of capitalization and punctuation...

hey theres too much effort into adding punctuation and hitting the shift key to make a capitalized letter its an effort for me not to use punctuation at this point

First of all, what makes you think I'm old (and what, exactly, is old)?
Second, I understood every word (?) you wrote.
Third, I sincerely hope that this ridiculous form of verbiage doesn't take over.
Fourth, I very much hope you take more care in your photography than you do in your English.
Fifth, you still managed a misplaced apostrophe (word's).

Roy I know what you mean about apostrophes, it annoys me too.
What bothers me more is the way they are wrongly used in our (UK) newspapers.

The Thing That Really Annoys Me Is Posts Where People Capitalise The First Letter Of Every. Single. Word.

Seriously, how much longer does that take than typing without caps? Some people are just out to make way more work for themselves in order to prove that they are (starts with W, rhymes with Bankers).

Oh, and misplaced apostrophes are painful to read as well. And lense. Actually I agree with everything stated above.

It takes me more effort to type without the caps and punctuations because I have to force myself to skip the keystrokes...

Somebody posts a question that's written like this and I blow right by it, even if it's a simple question that takes no time to answer. I won't validate their laziness or ignorance by posting a reply.

Isn't "lense" the Queen's English? Valid spelling as far as I'm concerned.

Since we're "going there," how about general spelling and grammar? I know I'm guilty of bastardizing the written word, but I wonder sometimes whether some of the posts I read are a result of being lazy and not paying attention to what is typed, or just not knowing how to structure a sentence? <-- like this one! ;)

It's (or "its"??) actually quite scary to me.

I apologize for taking the humor out of this thread ;)

And, I'm pretty sure I'm going to receive an "F+" on spelling and grammar....

DOH!
