Anyone buy a light box off ebay? Yes I could make my own but I have too much going on right now with the holidays and don't have the time I'd rather just buy one :)

Time? a cordboard box & some tissue paper and you're ready to go. I wouldn't spend the money.

I have a smaller version (with the intent of shooting smaller subjects of course) and I found this style to be too damn shallow for even the smallest things like rings and watches. The working area inside them is just too cramped.

I think the DIY folks have a much better idea because there's no "roof" (unless you want one.) I've decided I'm just going to ask Santa for a proper translucent light table with frame for mounting lights/flashes.

Thanks for the feedback I thought about building a pvc frame and I can make it the size I want maybe I'll just go that way instead

Here ya go, Greg. I built this one and didn't even use any glue. Easy to dismantle to.
I used a piece of white poster board and a white twin bed sheet.

Works pretty good and you can expand it to your heart's desire by cutting bigger pieces of the pvc if you need to.
Good luck.

Here's a sample pic.

Yes but it was a different seller as I'm in the UK.

But it was fine, had some backdrops with it.

Must admit only had it a few days so not used it yet, but it looks the same as the one in my local camera shop but mine was over 5 times cheaper :)
