which JPEG quality do you use to save from RAW?

if you use PS CS, you have options to choose quality of JPEG, from 12 downwards, which one do you use and why?

I came across an article before, it was for a sport publication and i remember it somehow mentioned all images should be saved at quality "8" before send back to photo editor and it mentioned reason for that, but i can't remember whatsoever.

any help, please?

Depends on my end use. Coming from C1 LE I go for 100% quality (no compression).

From PS CS, if I am going to prints between 10 and 12 (very high quality). For web, generally I select a quality setting of 5 or 6.

Anything else generally introduces too many artifacts for my tastes.
