Challenge #100 - Inside Your Computer
***************

Ok folks, time to flex that digital muscle once more with a prime opportunity to try out telephoto and macro modes to take pics of the inside of your computer.

It's filled with colourful wires, intricate circuits, lovely holes in the side to shine lights through and maybe it's even modded up with neons and flourescent cable.

The challegnge dear friends, is to light it as dramatically as you can, or find an interesting angle, maybe even play with DOF or long exposures. Either way, i'm looking for the kind of dynamic shot that would sell a computer, don't just poke the camera in a take a pic, really think about angle, light, tone etc.

Doesn't matter if it's a mac, a pc or even a C=64 or speccy. Take me into your computer.

I May Need a New Power Supply

Title: I May Need a New Power Supply
Camera: Canon S3IS

I had my computer check for internal power components so I could get a picture and this popped up! It may be time to upgrade!

I love L E D fans

S3IS, 1 sec @ F3.2. Self built computer with cutting edge components, but probably too much L E D bling on the fans. Does have a clear side so I can see them. This is the CPU cooling fan and the rear case fan. You can also see the memory and GPU.

And from the file name it wasn't taken with the PowerShot but with the Sony. BTW, one of the rules is discussion of photos isn't allowed until after the contest has closed.

Used 2 photos with +/-2EV differences then set the higher EV value picture to difference mode to get this picture. Just a little imagination here, hope you like it. :)

Canon S2 IS

This isn't really "inside" the computer, since this computer doesn't even have a case. Its components are actually enclosed in the cabinet of my desk.

This machine is my personal file server, got a 2500+ AMD Barton chip, 512mb of RAM (looking for more) and 540gb of storage, with about 30gb free. It usually doesn't have a monitor hooked on it (except for debugging purpose), all my interaction with it is done via VNC from my main computer.
