From Saturday, small fresh water pond on the edge of the Gulf of Maine. 16 degrees (F) and very windy. Next AM this pond was ice and no more Buffleheads this year! I find these ducks the toughest to photograph - white on dark and extremely skiddish. These are big crops but the best of the late Fall. - Bob

Exposure looks good. The first shot captures how pretty the iridescence in their heads is. Well done!

These are great Bob....Buffleheads are so small & fast and the ones we have at our cottage don't let you get closer than 30 yards or so.
