First time on the birds section... I really dug this one, and figured I would throw this one out for your viewing pleasure, or your C&C, whichever comes first. :)

It was just turning dusk, giving a dark, eerie flavor to the shot. A little PP helped as well. :)

There must have been close to 100 vultures (turkey and black) out there that day (Myakka River State Park for anyone playing at home).

It was nice to have so many willing models! :)

Pretty good and with a dark mood it complements the subjects.

Nothing like dining with a great view......and those guys got a great table. I like the picture, especially the lighting.

Dining is right!

They all started to gather on the point at the very end of the park, and I couldnt figure out why. Then I saw a park employee with a wheel borrow full of trash head toward the large dumpster nearby. It grabbed the birds attentions, and many went over to the dumpster and started to work at getting it open to grab the treats inside. Fascinating!

I think I shot a couple of them trying to open it before I left... I'll see if I can dig any up, though I dont think any were really all that interesting.
