I took these shots of my husband for an album he's working on right now. It was a lot of fun for both of us! C&C welcome and appreciated.

I know the colours are 'inconsistent' - I played with different processing styles quite a bit, and would appreciate feedback or ideas on processing as well. Thanks for looking!

thanks for looking and commenting! 1 and 2 are the ones that I did the least processing on, and are definitely more to my personal tastes as well. thanks again for taking the time!

Hey, great shots! I play/collect guitars so always enjoy seeing pics of any type of guitar! Like the poses and thin depth of field on the one showing the fingers on the fretboard!

just goes to show that photography is such a matter of taste. That is obviously the one I did the most processing on. It's my husband's favourite shot as well.

thanks! hubby would agree about the Ricky, but I personally love his fender. You can actually buy a sort of similar one from fender now, but I love the mods he's done on it.

Neat stuff Amanda. Like the different styles.
Some CC?

#1, don't care for this one, the hand closest to the camera is so OOF and a bit too bright for it to work for me.
#2 works much better for me, nice close up.
#3 don't really care for this one, his expression isn't the best, don't look like he's too into it.
#4 this one is cool...I like it, processing, angle and all.
#5 is great too, I get a Beatles vibe for some reason?
#6 would have been great just not crazy about the cord at his feet or the legs on the "chair", it almost looks like a work out bench (that you do sit ups on?). A stool of some sort with that pose and angle would work better for me, I"m just distracted by the legs area too much, everything else is topnotch.
#7 no, too bright, the processing adn all the props makes it very busy to me.
#8 not sure I care for the angle...but interesting idea.
