I just send my 5D back to Canon on friday because it's show bad pixel accros the image (vertical and horizontal). I though that was cause by the memory card , so I get another memory card and shot ....same thing happen with difference memory card .

I took that 2 memory card to the 30D and shot more photo ,all the photo was fine ...stick it back to 5D ....it's showing all the bad pixel again ..either horizontal or vertical .

Format the memory card ...and still does samething .

Does anyone had this problem ?

Yikes! That really IS bad.

But, I don't think that it is a bad pixel on the sensor -- something in the camera isn't working correctly and only Canon can fix it. I would guess that it may be a connector problem or a bad flex harness. What do the images look like when viewed on the LCD screen?

That's definitely not normal. You did the right thing! And your test methodology was good as well. You tested both variables independently to isolate the culprit. If you sent copies of the bad photos along to Canon they should have no trouble fixing it. If you didn't, they should see the same thing as soon as they try a test shot.

Canon service in NJ way tooo slow ....I won't send my camera to this place again .

Canon service in California seem work faster than NJ .

Don't despair -- they always state 5 - 10 days as the turn-around time, but in all likelihood, it will be 5 days at the most. They can't do anything about the transit time and it is especially slow before Christmas.
