banding with gadget infinity poverty wizards?

anyone ever experience this with their poverty wizards mounted in the hotshoe? takes up just the extreme left portion of the frame when shot vertically. this is a 100% crop to show the interference. by the way...this was on a 5d. only notice it in areas of shadow.

strobist.com had this discussion earlier on their flickr group....
it seems like 5D had a problem with the 433Mhz radio frequency not only from PW but also from walkie talkies......
if i remember correctly.....
