So I happened to stumble upon a DoF simulator and posted it over in Talk About Photography. It's a Java script that simulates Depth Of Field, and does so very accurately and it's all visual - you shoose lens length, aperture, distance, and the subject you're shooting (sparrow, hot rod, human head, etc). It visually shows you how the DoF is going to look. Very, very cool.

So in my first person, I mentioned that the list of subjects was too small, and that I'd like to see Ducks on the list.

The author logged in today and he has added ducks! Too Funny!

PS: Yes, I know this is a double-post of sorts, but it's worth the double post. it's a VERY nice tool. And the fact that he added ducks is so appropriate for this site. IanD is going to love it.

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.
