I'm trying to get back into macro photography at home and was looking into getting a light tent built.

Started out with box from my last purchase from BH, tissue paper, and 2 cheap halogen 24w/150v lamp from Target. The light are adequate but is there another lamp you guys recommend? I'm trying not to get the 500w work light from Home Depot since I'm gonna get into the grove and will have to turn off the light when it gets too hot.

I'm trying to find a lamp bright enough where I can attach some colored CD Jewel case to it to get some hues against either a white or black background.

Also, in as much as I prefer to do macro sessions in the wild, has anyone have much fun as I'm hoping to have doing flower macro using a light tent?

First session with my DIY light tent

Thanks guys.

I'd use flashes, not constant lights. You can gel flashes easily. I'd also add another light on the left of that image for fill, it seems a bit dark to me.
