Dell 24" widescreen, had one for about 16months now and absolutely love it. They have some really good specials on their website too. Highly reccomend one!

Else Viewsonic recently had big price reductions on their 22" widescreens with 2000:1 contrast. havn't seen one going myself but for the price they can't be too bad.

Let me know if you need any advice or anything, I know a wee bit about displays etc.

uh, thanks - I have been a computer 'technician' for just on 30 years now... ;) Started in Wellington in 1978. (ack)

I have 2 screens on this computer - the 1024x768 was the general browser screen used for Firefox and email. The 1280x960 is calibrated and was used for picture editing and viewing any pics I saw on POTN that made me want to look further.

So... the 1280x960 may just become the primary and I'll look around for a new 'slave'.

Once I get the gearbox repaired in the damned 4WD... :p

The new gearbox.

I commute weekly to Sydney (for one day a week) and I need the transportation more than I need to see the full size pics.

um

if people shot to the rules of thirds and only framed for the left, I guess it would work :p

Chris I only have 1 requirement for the trip.To play in the snow. The rest will be a bonus. I did like tags "Ice" photos

You can play with snow anytime if you chase it, I've been skiing on Christmas day (about 1980), this shot was taken 12 months ago, to the day, (almost the same time of day).
