Do you guys ever go on day trips with your partner and stuff or a walk or something and stop and take pics all the time? LOL my poor woman, she is actually really good, she just gets bored but never says anything, I feel bad sometimes ... just wondering how others handle it.

It is one or the other. Leave wife/partner at home if doing serious photography.

Mine started off with a hiss and a roar. I may post Xena photos later.. but they aren't too good, hah

Business looks to be 99% go, and now not just running it, but partnership. Bonus!
Anyone need any Underfloor heating? ;)
Started the 1st job today

I have 8 babies.... monarch caterpillars, so far hatched, on my swan plants. Times like these I wish I had a macro

Best of luck in all your future 08 endeavours, folks!

The photos, again, looks stunning, from what I've seen. The beachy shots are awesome, and all the more reason to love NZ.

Tony, I like both of yours, but #1 stands out to me :D

Kirst, I have extension tubes -- they work really good.

Just had another wedding request, this time for 23rd February, which is the day I plan of leaving NZ again.

Just put a recommendation through to Sarah and Aaron - hope you're free :p As you're not around on MSN

Off to work I go...

right.. when the sparrows return i will remind them that their diet is shockingly bad and they should give up the white bread.

as for my sense of humour - well that joke was funny the first time it came up 6 months ago - the 2nd time it appeared here not so funny and caused a big falling out.. so i cant see it being funny for the third time..

is it me or do these pictures look to be taken at different focal lengths?
apart from that I'd say looks similar enough...

edit: Doh! reads exif info... a whole 5mm difference.

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
