Well I got over to Raglan for a surf today.....damn it was hot!

Only the main beach was working, but I went and had a quiet look at whale and Manu bay for giggles too..... good times.

Mediation - the country is what you make it, I came back from Europe thanking my lucky stars we don't have to put up with the crap they do...... I personally think this country rocks beyond belief..... but that's just me.

Whale Bay....

Hey daniel keep me posted on the papakura weather, was born at papakura hospital by the old clevedon rd bridge if it's still there, and flew sailplanes(i hear that they moved out to drury years back)at ardmore in the early seventies as well as the victas that the royal aeroclub owned. Some beautiful hilly country there instead of the miles of flat s**t we have here.No airsick bags for the passenger?

cheers

Hey snap! minus the cross trainer, and what is that? but i think it's a bit warmer over here.I got mildly ticked off on another forum having a bit of a joke about cross dressing so..what the hell are 'blue meanies?' you've got me stumped but..i hate carrots and remember when your parents used to force-feed you in the belief that it bettered your eyesight? well..thank God for medical progress. We're now at the stage where smoking really does improve your hearing, chills you out too and those mushrooms with some rice etc...phew!!!.......don't have to touch a slider or curve in pp..just happens :0)

cheers

you don't know the blue meanies? ah well... google will probably help... but yeah.

Hey everyone.

Dont you just hate it when everything seems so normal. How time can feel predicted and not original... I feel this way at the moment. It sucks big time.

I feel that NZ is like this. We as a nation love to live life by the norm. We are too afraid. It sucks. This covers a social context, political and economically.

Our country is boring...

Im going to go out tonight and act like an absolute idiot just so i can satisfy myself.

I win cliff :p

Life is only as mediocre or as normal or as boring as you make it. Personally I like living in a country where you're not in constant fear for your own life and you have reasonable amounts of freedom of expression.

Tis pretty cool aside from that odd dark smudge across the centre of it.

You guys sound generally bored or pissed off,by what?..bad weather?..bring it on as we sure need some here and all this sunshine can be a real pain in the ar#e tho i gladly trade living where there is bugger all water for getting chased around papakura as a young teenager,by either black power or the mongrel mob.A few years ago i watched that great kiwi movie 'once were warriors',too close to the bone don't you think? ..no wonder we've got no sense of humour compared to the aussies of which i'm becoming one,it's a lot easier but most of all i like them, very much.Cheers

Moppie, use robocopy. It is a free tool from microsoft. Does incremental copies and other wizzy stuff. Someone has even writen a gui for it if you can't handle the comand line.

Personally I just have a little script I run when ever I upload photos that robocopies any changes in the folders I have specified to a drive on my other PC.

It is included with vista. Used to be in the resource kit for XP. Just type robocopy /? at the command prompt and it will tell you what to do.

Aha!
I actualy have a script somewhere that Pete gave me, its on disk somewhere.

I have tried running Robocopy however, and it doesn't do much, Just flashes the cmd prompt in a window for about 1sec. The window is then closed?

So long and thanks for all the flash

This is serious indeed. I think you have around 36 minutes before your pc explodes!

Wait a minute, is your pc plugged in, and turned on at the wall?
