Hi folks, I'm new here and just discovered this (enormous) thread. I'm a 22 year old student in Christchurch, although I'm originally from Tauranga. I recently bought my first DSLR camera (a Canon 30D) to replace the Panasonic p&s I've been photographing with for a couple of years. It's a lot of fun learning to use the new gear and it's really spurred my interest in photography to a new level.

Well, just wanted to pop in and say hi, I intend to frequent this forum so no doubt I will be spending a lot (perhaps too much) time in this thread as well!

Nothing better than 10hrs sleep. Right time to plan next adventure. Heck I still have 2 weeks to kill before I have to go back to work.
