This is serious indeed. I think you have around 36 minutes before your pc explodes!

Wait a minute, is your pc plugged in, and turned on at the wall?

I think the problem is he's running it from windows rather than bringing up the command window first  Common enough problem.

Nice, attack of the giant killer man eating ducks!

Cheers :D With all the shots of ducks I get I try to go for slightly differeant angles.

a day in the airing cupboard works

also, my dad (electronics engineer) sometimes puts stuff thru the wash (like his phone) and so he takes it apart and pours methanol over the electronics to remove the water/prevent corrosion, then dries it in the airing cupboard

of course, important not to put any current through it while its still wet

My brother lost his cellphone in a river that was too muddy to see anything.
He was stupid enough to look for it 2 weeks later when he was up there again.

It still works (except for the screen back light).

No, that doesn't sound right. His pc will stop letting light into the flux capacitor if he tries that.

Nice work Don! Those kicking shots are awesome. Very cool to have expressions caught in action. :)

Question:
Some Canon Camera's have the same Digic sensor right. Therefore there is no real difference between different Canon Models. E.g. 20D and 30D... The only difference you can have is in Glass.

Am i semi right?

Aha!
I actualy have a script somewhere that Pete gave me, its on disk somewhere.

I have tried running Robocopy however, and it doesn't do much, Just flashes the cmd prompt in a window for about 1sec. The window is then closed?

Have you tried SyncToy? It is a free MS software and does the job for me very well. You can automate the back up even.

Good effort Don! A bit noisy but you've made the most of what you had.

Yep. Glass can make the difference. But a creative eye more so.

Is that why the blue light is flashing?

I guess it would also explain the radiation burns on the cat.

So long and thanks for all the flash

photoshop's noise reduction is not really terrible effective, usually anything strong enough to actually cut the noise will also make the rest of the photo too soft

get noise ninja, it has auto features so if you dont know how to use it, it can do a pretty good job for you while you learn - and it plugs into PS or runs by itself, depending which version you get

some do have the same generation sensor... but the newer models generally perform better in other ways, which combine to make the product better/easier to get

and glass always makes the difference whether you have 2 identical bodies or 2 completely different ones

Nothing flash, but I decided to show some photos. Flatty asked me to take some snaps of himself and his son to send to England. Taken at the entirely wrong time of the day. with the sun far too high in the sky. But I think they came out sorta ok
Here's Steve and Thomas.
