our charming child has decided it's too hot to be wearing the required undergarments.
Seen here attempting to escape...

That must be the gayest comment I have read here! (Not that I have anything against gays... er ... Some of my best friends are gay?)

I can say gayer ones if you want.

of course that doesn't have anything to do with photography.

So we are the regulars

SS will be running around the house naked cause it so hot.

no ss was having dinner because the idea of a cooked meal at the proper time tonight was out of the question due to the above 30 degree heat. and since when would running cool someone down anyhow? you really didnt think that through did you

Well I successfully reshot the portrait session last night - apart from our outdoor location - will have to do that when we get back from Aussie.. The family seemed most understanding - while I felt like a complete tool.

a poor workman blames her tool...

I don't kno the circumstancves, but the fact that you went out of your way and re-shot must speak volumes to them, Serra :)

So did no-one have any good pointers for me to work on as far as shooting people/portraits go in relation to those few images I uploaded?

Decisions decisions.

Situation:
Thanks to a very wealthy relative , my partner and I have been gifted the opportunity of return tickets to the UK. Now , this means we can take the flights anytime , and stay for as long as VISA's etc allow. We don't have to pay the flights back. All we have to pay is the airports taxes.

So...

Problem
Do I take a 3 week holiday and keep my job, or... APPLY for an 8 week non-paid period , and run the risk of possibly having to forfeit my job for a once in a lifetime opportunity?

ARrrrrrrrrrgh

Mind is turning to mush with options and solutions and dilemmas going on in my head.

bugger off for a year.. problem solved..

hmm, i just found one of my pro portraits from a shoot i did a year ago on a facebook profile... i decided to tag the person with my photo credit and then message her to ask her to accept the tag, so ppl can see who took it. the pic already has attracted a comment by a viewer for creativity

im thinking i should have offered e-mail size photos in the deal with my watermark on, rather than just the clean fullsize prints

Any shoots I do come with a web prepared set, fully watermarked, and with the adjusted level of USM. In TFCD cases with models they're given instructions that they're only to use the supplied web images for use online, anything else without prior arrangement is breach of agreement.

Cheers, Dave.
