So hows our working man getting on?

hehe good. I have work at 1:30pm today doing training on the computers. Learning the system i believe. Im just reading up on the terms and conditions of each thing. Man i just hope im a good sales person. But I really need to make 2-3 sales a day so then I can get 1k-1.2k or even 2k (depending on what i sell) commission at the end of the month.

Then i can get a 40D or something.

I have imported myself a remote flash trigger for canon, i'll let ya know what its like if you want... cost me around $95 nz but are supposed to be better than alot of the cheap ones, more reliable etc.

That'd be cool cheers,

What brand is it... or doesn't have a brand

Traveling to New Zealand in a week for my Honeymoon. Going to rent a van and cruise for 3 weeks. Love the outdoors so we'll e doing mostly camping and seeing the national forests. Just started planning out our route, fly into Auckland then up to bay of islands and Waipoui Forest. After that we plan on making our way down to Te Urewera & lake waikaremoana. After that we'll see some sights on our way to Mt. Cook before we head home out of Queens town.

I'm pretty sure this is the the rite place to ask what are the MUST SEE and DO in NZ for jaw dropping sights and life long memories.

Cheers.

WHEN I get my 300 back its been away for its 7th day today
Oh well at $50 a day hirage.

What do you need to borrow? Your ruff on your gear though. I better take a $2k bond

Well I wouldn't want your 300mm without you present. Just to use, say at Muriwai and gannets one morning/evening, but i a working day for you ;)

Plus as I said before, I'm bringing 17-40, 24-105, 50mm 1.4 only and flash. Have a wedding to do, so a 70-200 for the weekend of Friday 15th to Sunday 17th when I'm in Napier.

My gears in mint condition, apart from the coating on the 120-300 completely flaked off, and I peeled some more off. ;) And the hood is a bit bent ;)

Welcome. Look at the map, point and go there - I almost guarantee it will be picturesque ;)

Make sure near Mt Cook, you also visit Lake Tekapo, Church of the Good Shepherd, Wanaka, Milford Sound (mitre peak) - and perhaps even take a scenic flight around there.
If you venture further South past Balclutha and towards Invercargill, the region is called the Catlins - plenty of waterfalls

Also if you make it further up the West coast, drop by Lake Matheson - postcard photos across still water and Mount Cook

And further still up the West coast - Punakaiki rocks - can't beat those either!

What are your areas of intrest?

Interested in nature, I love landscape photography so i hope to get plenty of that in. I'm not a big resort/city person (to my future wifes regret). So I would have to say I love the Mt.s, Forests, Scenic coasts, quaint towns, and anything stunning. I would like to see as much as possible but like I said we have less then 3 weeks so I want to make the most of it.
