Great photo Peter! I like it! :D

Heard back from Auckland Camera re my queries on 17-55mm IS & the 70-200mm 2.8 none IS. Unfortunately they can't beat what Graham @ progear is offering me. AC is offering me :P 17-55 $1,620.00 and 70-200mm 2.8 none IS $2,099 and will give me a trade in of $200 for my 17-85mm IS if I decide to trade it in.

Graham @ progear is giving me the 17-55mm IS for $1,495 with a $550 trade in for my 18-55mm IS and the 70-200mm 2.8 none IS for $1,825.

Gonna go see him tomorrow after work, I think I'll get the 17-55mm IS for now and get that out of the way.

Woops... edit :P was typing very fast!

Ummmm Auckland Camera have the 17-55 advertised for $1419 on their website so I would question their quote

forgot to ask him, anyone know if they accept Qcard? U get 3months interest free when u use it don't u?

momentz wrote in post #4767893 (external link)
FYI Harvey norman will do the 17-55IS for $1419, as will AC.

Sancho wrote in post #4768907 (external link)
Hate to say it, but take that quote to harvey norman and see what they can do on longer interest free terms for you maybe... Just a thought

scotttnz wrote in post #4768929 (external link)
Yeah, ask Aaron (Momentz) about the deal he got from Harvey Norman price matching on the 17-55 f2.8IS he picked up today......

And yep - what they all said.... We used AC's website prices to go to Harvey Norman. They price matched knocking $600 off their retail of the 17-55 which was $2k, they also did it on 18 months interest free..... I'm sure they would even match Progear prices if you can get them in writing :) Oh and this was at the Botany Downs Harvey Norman.

Progear's finance is through Flexi Rent/Own which has a huge interest rate :/ Q Card while good - is only 3 months interest free.....
