another thing it is handy for is handwriting on screen - such as adding your signature to PDF documents etc without printing, signing in pen and scanning them back in
ever tried to sign your name with a mouse? lol

A widdle bit more here, but not a lot of good stuff https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=447070

ahh so you haven't clicked on the buy button yet huh. I have got the intous2 4x6 and I don't think that I need to go any bigger or buy a new one. being usb and the fact that it works in vista I don't see any real reason to upgrade.

However if I was planning on upgrading however I would more than likely go to a intous3. they are the more professional version of the tablet.

I've only used a pen and tablet once when I was trying to navigate around pages as the guy's machine it was on didn't have a mouse. Absolutely hated it, but I can see the appeal of the precision of it.

Do they take a lot of practise to get used to?

yes they do take some time. The area of the tablet is the area on the screen. since most people with a mouse pick up and move the mouse to get the cursor to the other end of the screen, by default people do that with the tablet. which of course means that the cursor keeps going around and around and going know where.

but once you get use to them, they are the best thing to use.

Nice chock in picture number one!

What's the blue car blurred in the background of shot 2? Looks like an E30 M3 or Merc EVO from the shape of it...?

Most of the Mustangs that race in the UK are crowd favourites as they are pretty cool, but they're never that competitive, one of them ended up batling with a 1300 Mini in every race I saw them at.

Cheers, Dave.

Mine has a setting on it to allow you to use it like a mouse, rather than tablet position equals screen position.

The impossible has begun - another step closer - and I am very hungry for it.

so does mine
but i prefer to use it the other way, easier to orientate your hand

use the tablet like a real piece of paper - then you will find it easy

Turns out I'm not impulsive to the point of being stupid, I'll mull over it for at least another few hours. :)

Yeah I think it would be a bit flattened if the car rolled :D

Yep it is an E30 I think (mid 80's M3 - not overly familiar with BMW model tags)

Yeah the Hoffman Mustang used to be a front runner but now it sits midfield. Got eaten by loads of stuff but still a joy to watch, was gutted that the ex rally car Escort wasn't there as he used to damn near drift it around corners.

Cheers, Shane.

nothing wrong with being impulsive, just have to make sure it's for the right reasons

well regardless of which one you get, you will not regret it.

Hey gkpe.

Im back from work. Made a mint sale today. It was all because of my awesome conversation. About fishing :)

I sold a lady. Homeplan, Tolls and dial-up internet. Saved her heaps of money :)
Got a guy I have to call tomorrow and ill most probably sell broadband and a homeplan to him. Huge sale potential there...

Now about Sunday. I hear there are two seats left. I could drive over to your house and just jump in your car. Buuut. I have a 21st on saturday night. And to be honest. Im probably going to be terribly hung over. What time would you leave in the car?

A bit of flat tracking from today...

Not as sharp as I would want but the content is nice and dynamic.
Not to mention it's my bro riding my bike :D

A 1/25th pan...

This is rapidly turning into the GKPE motorsport thread

I like both of those - personally I prefer dynamic to tack sharp. Well done.

Cheers, Shane.
