Shame about the bag on the rock in the forground SS. Sky looks blown out too. Can you crop those out?

i thought about getting rid of the bag but couldnt be bothered lol the photo isnt good enough to worry about it

the sky was white... we had cloud cover until we went down to the beach (its grey in the corners due to the vignette)

I thought the pano head etc was only 'really' needed if you had objects very close to the lens. If there is nothing in the foreground it could be done normally with a decent tripod.

Ive lost to many good panos due to been handheld and not correctly done.
They may look good at 800 but when you see them larger all the faults turn up.
As these will be printed they need to be perfectly alined. Seemless, no paralax.

Afternoon, very sticky out and the cycada's are going nuts around here!

Got woken early this morning by the rain & thought, not going now but despite the humidity, weather seems to be holding.

Anyway, here are a couple of the new walkway bridge, its open but not finished yet. These were taken fairly late last night & the wife/twins were getting figitty, so didn't spend a lot of time here. Very difficult light, should have tried from the other end where there weren't any street lights (in shot)

Very rough but when the bridge is finished, worth going back again.

The further away the object the less it's affected by the parallax effect. In that pano there is a lot in the foreground so you do need to take it into account.

Obviously I'm not an expert. My panos are very crudely put together. I'm actually hoping a person in work will help me build a pano head (and not made out of wood.!!)

Right wekas glamour studio is now on trademe.

Time to move on. 45 model shoots. Learnt a lot but not for me at the end of the day.
Got better things to do with my life that deal with flakey people.

1Dmk2 is next. Then 300F2.8

$6500

It will be sold if I need more money after the 1Dmk2 sale. As it still works fine on the 5D :)

The studio lights will cover the M80. The 1D will cover the pano head and maybe a 100-400 if Im happy with the results.
The downside to the 100-400 is its not weather sealed.
