Is porn allowed here

One can't look, another is interested.

Love the colour in that - what lens? :)

70-200 f4 L

It was the second lens after I bought, originally having the twin-kit lenses.
Sat disused for long periods of time when I struggled to get good results with it, but I'm getting far more consistant with it now. I don't hesitate to use it now.

Guess experience and knowledge does help :)

Hi All.

Firstly, there are so many wingers here saying "I wish I could make money with my photos!".
All I can say is "Get off your fat bums & do something then!!"
There are hundreds of ways to make money! If you dedicate some time & don't waste your time chatting on forums.

I make US $400.00 per month through Stock photography & don't have to do anything at the moment. I invested some time & got about 500 photos online & they earn for me. It takes time, but i worth the investment.

I talk to people & offer them photo shoots.
Get your photos on display like Lance did & you will also make something. Just don't complain here & waste your time doing nothing about it!

Amen!

John and Mark - Congrats are definitely in order for the two of you
Top stuff!

Meanwhile - I was messing with Midnight Sepia action for these.
Work wanted to pay me for my time (I said no).. I'm sure you lads are comfortable enough in your own masculinity to not be offended by fruits in frocks

Hey Im in the same boat. People have been saying print and sell your landscapes for quite sometime.

Have spent the last 3/4 days just thinking about my photography. Printed out 2 A3+ sized super bike photos and they look great.

How else am I going to be able to get my 600F4 and 1Dsmk3 if I dont sell what I already have. (Thats $23,000 worth of gear)

If Im not mistaken Lance's 1dmk3 was paid for by print sales. Sure I could goto AC now and get one on credit, sell my Mk2 and pay it off the balance but where would I be in 6 months..........in the same boat.

WE ARE AFFRAID. Maybe we should spend more time listening to others rather than talking.

See above!

Do you always speak in the 3rd person, Aaron? :)

I think go for the cheaper 10-20 Sigma, for your wide angle shots, then those couple extra hundred can go towards a 70-200 fund.
the 10-20/22 is, as you said, a great lens for both Wedding and Motor Vehicle work

I'm going for the Sigma. It has better reviews than the Canon & focuses just as fast & is cheaper. I don't want to be a Canon Snob!

Yes I do love photographing woman in lingerie, ashame there are not more mature woman out there who are intrested.

As for motor sport I guess its the fact that I dont have to direct anyone. The noise isnt that bad and its outdoors.

There are loads of interested women out there. You just have to be able to contact them.
Have you tried advertising at a hairdressers or a supermarket!

I think I will buy the sigma 10-22 today.
It gets better reviews than the Canon & is much cheaper.
I have been offered a Job photographing an Animal hotel for the web. As they want the rooms to look good, I think an Ultra wide angle will be necessary.
I also want to try it for some Ultra Closeup skiing photos over Christmas

Thanks for the comments, props to Wazza for the idea tho!

Where are these reviews you speak of? I would love to borrow a Canon now that I've used a good sigma. The canon is better on paper and I've read reviews that say it's sharper.... :S
