taken with my G9 it was the easiest to "hide" just incase they would be hassling re cameras in the venue 
Have to take on board i was boogeying and fainting lol

I just got a G9 as my first digital simply for the fact that I won't have any trouble getting it into most venues that allow P&S. Can you tell me what settings you were using, and how far away you were? Hopefully I'll get a chance to get to a club and get some practice time in before I go to a show that matters. Jen
